The BE-5300BLF telephone is compatible with CENTREX telephone
systems as long as the following procedures are followed:
- A maximum of four telephone lines can be connected to a group of
BE-5300BLF telephones. This means a maximum of four telephone
numbers.
- Each telephone number must be connected in the same line
sequence assignment at each telephone within the same group.
Failure to observe this rule will result in no intercommunication
and or false line status indication.
- It is not possible to have intercom or line status indication
between groups of BE-5300BLF telephones that do not have common
telephone number sequence assignment.
