The PVT-30D is an analog key telephone model
designed for use with the MacroSMB Hybrid-Key Digital Telephone System. It
offers 52 interface keys including 20 programmable keys, speakerphone, message
waiting display, and many other feature keys. The programmable keys can be set
to monitor extensions or trunks or provide access to features, functions, or
speed dial numbers. Several of the programmable keys on the PVT-30D can be set
to access features by default.
The PVT-30D offers a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD)
capable of displaying system status messages and Caller ID information. Display
messages and indicator lamps keep users apprised of their total phone
environment. The LCD displays information such as day, date, and time, call
duration, station status messages such as Conferenced or Do Not Disturb, and
Caller ID name and number. Dual-color LEDs indicate different line activity
based on the state and color. For example, a slow flashing red lamp indicates a
call on system hold.
Users can select from 16 available ring tones.
The distinctive ring tones differentiate between intercom calls and external
calls and between calls ringing at one station and other nearby stations. Other
user-defined parameters include volume control (ring, handset, and
speakerphone), inactive display, LCD contrast, and Caller ID display format.
Several design aspects deliver unmatched quality
and reliability. The million-stroke keys provide maximum endurance, far greater
than the 50- 60,000 stoke keys used on many competitors models. Labelling on the
keypad is double-injected so that it will never wear off. And the superior
microphone guarantees clear, high-quality voice transmission.
