Siemens designed the optiset E Basic telephone with
today's corporate knowledge workers in mind, although its combination of low
cost and flexibility makes it perfect for many other applications, such as
hospitals and student dormitories. The optiset E Basic features eight keys with
LEDs and supports up to four extensions. It includes a bay for attaching an
easy-add option module, two keys for volume control and one-way speaker for
hands-free operation.
