AT&T's Trimline 230 corded telephone is one of the most basic models in the company's phone lineup. As the Trimline name suggests, it's also very compact, with the keypad located on the receiver. Up to 12 frequently-used numbers can be programmed into the 230's speed-dial memory, which is accessed through the dialing keypad by first pressing a Memory button. The phone also has three backlit buttons with colored icons for fire, police, and medical emergencies. These are also programmable, giving you direct, one-button access to 911 or other emergency phone numbers.
Other conveniences include a last-number redial button and volume adjustment for both ringer and receiver.
